The student recital is over. I can say goodbye to the three accompaniment pieces and my Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody. I was satisfied with my overall performance. Of course, there is still a large room for improvement for the Liszt. It is a very difficult piece, both technically and musically. One of my schoolmates said that I had chosen an excellent work. Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No.6 is not a very long piece but it consists of contrasting elements and it is very showy. That's why it is quite good to play it in a small recital.
I don't have to practise the Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody temporarily. It is time to start working on the new solo and accompaniment pieces.

I would say it is quite impossible. There are lots of pianists all over the world and this industry is very competitive. It is really difficult to be a performer. Don't even think of holding a recital.

Well, "nothing is impossible" seems to be true. I have met lots of pianists who dream of being a performer and they work very hard. However, the reality is that no one will go to your recital if you are not famous.
這是現實，但非必然，最重要是你的理想是甚麽，朝著目標進發，途中或許磨難重重，但只要邁向理想，痛苦的歷程也會讓你喜悅！
名氣不會為演奏家帶來音樂上的喜悅，他們永遠覺得自己在演奏上有改善的空間，因為他們知道在音樂的探求上，路仍漫長；名氣不應是目標或考慮因素，音樂才是你的終極關懷！
西方古典音樂多涉及人文與精神上的追尋，多讀點哲學性的書籍，多思考，多關心世界，演奏從心出發，自會有所成就。演奏技巧只是表達你內心世界與感情的途徑而已，重點應放在你對內在精神的探索，而非外在技巧的琢磨！
我這門外漢的意見或不值一顧，卻出自真心！
